The Primary Curriculum is followed but adapted to meet each Childs individual needs i.e.
· The Curriculum is presented to each individual child orally and through Sign Language , which would be backed up with concrete materials to enhance the child’s learning.

The Curriculum areas are as follows:

· English
· Maths
· Social Environmental and Scientific Education,which is History, Geography and Science.
· Arts Education
· Physical Education
· Social and Personal Health Education
· Religious Education.

Students are exempt from Irish due to hearing impairment.
Sound field system is installed in each class to enhance the acoustic environment thus enabling children with hearing impairment to reach their full potential.

CLASSES:
Each classroom has small numbers i.e. Pupil Ratio 6: 2. Because of small ratio each child benefits greatly because of individual attention.
All classrooms are fitted with Promethean Interactive Whiteboards to enhance the pupils learning experience.
